We’re a small, family-owned business based in Wakeman, Ohio, where every batch of goat’s-milk soap and handmade product is poured, cut, and packaged with care. This Shipping Policy explains how and when your order will be processed, shipped, and delivered.
By purchasing through www.brushwoodcornersllc.com or www.brushwoodcornersllc.net, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Order Processing Time
Each product at Brushwood Corners is crafted and packaged by hand. Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.

Ready-to-Ship Products:
Most ready-made items (such as cured soaps, lotion bars, or accessories) are processed within 3–5 business days of payment. -
Pre-Order or Freshly Made Soap Bars:
Some of our soaps are poured fresh and require a curing period of 4–6 weeks before they can safely be packaged and shipped.
Estimated availability dates are listed in each product description. If your order includes a curing item, the entire order may be held until all items are ready to ship, unless otherwise arranged. -
Custom Orders:
Custom or wholesale orders may require additional processing time depending on size and complexity. We’ll communicate expected timelines before confirming your order.
We always do our best to ship as quickly as possible while maintaining product quality.
2. Shipping Carriers
We currently ship through:

United States Postal Service (USPS) – First Class and Priority Mail options

UPS Ground – For heavier or bulk packages
At checkout, you’ll see available shipping methods and rates based on your order weight, destination, and carrier options.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on:

Package weight and size,

Delivery destination, and
-
Chosen shipping speed.
We may occasionally offer flat-rate shipping or free shipping promotions, which will be clearly indicated on the website or during checkout.
4. Local Pickup
Customers in or near Wakeman, Ohio may select Local Pickup at checkout (when available).
Pickup orders will receive an email notification once ready, including instructions for scheduling pickup.
All local pickups are by appointment only, to ensure your order is prepared and ready upon arrival.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email confirmation containing your tracking number and a direct link to track your package.
Tracking updates are managed by the carrier, and may take up to 24 hours after shipment to appear.
6. Estimated Delivery Times
Typical delivery times (after shipment) are:

USPS First Class Mail: 3–7 business days

USPS Priority Mail: 2–4 business days

UPS Ground: 3–5 business days
Please note: Delivery times are estimates only. Weather delays, carrier backlogs, or peak holiday volumes may extend these timelines. Brushwood Corners LLC is not responsible for delays once an order has been handed to the carrier.
7. Shipping Restrictions
We currently ship only within the United States.
We do not ship to P.O. boxes through UPS, nor to international destinations at this time.

8. Incorrect Addresses
Please double-check your shipping address during checkout.
Brushwood Corners LLC is not responsible for orders delivered to the wrong address due to customer error.
If you realize your address is incorrect, contact us immediately at info@brushwoodcornersllc.com. If your order has not yet shipped, we will update it. Once a package has shipped, it cannot be rerouted.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
Once your order leaves our hands, it becomes the responsibility of the shipping carrier.
We are not liable for:

Packages lost, delayed, or stolen during transit;

Packages marked as “Delivered” by the carrier but not received; or

Delivery issues resulting from incorrect addresses.
If your tracking shows delivery but you did not receive your package:

Check around your delivery area and with neighbors.

Wait 24 hours — sometimes carriers mark packages early.

Contact your local USPS or UPS office for assistance.
If your package remains missing, we’ll do our best to help you file a carrier claim and offer guidance on next steps.
Please understand that refunds or replacements for lost packages are issued at our discretion and may not always be possible.
10. Damaged Shipments
We take care to package every order securely, but if your item arrives damaged, please notify us within 7 days of delivery.

Clear photos of the damaged product and shipping box.
We will review your claim and, if approved, offer a replacement, store credit, or refund.
11. Warm Weather Shipping
During hot weather, natural products like lotions or butters may soften or melt in transit.
To minimize this:

We may insulate packages or delay shipping during extreme heat.

Please track your shipment and bring it indoors promptly after delivery.
Melted products remain safe to use, though texture may change slightly.
12. Multiple Shipments
If your order contains both ready-to-ship and pre-order/curing items, it may ship in separate packages.
We’ll notify you if this applies, and tracking information will be provided for each shipment.
13. Holiday Shipping
Please order early during busy seasons (especially November–December).
Handcrafted batches and carrier delays can extend delivery times.
We will post holiday order deadlines each year to help ensure on-time arrivals.
14. Shipping to Gift Recipients
If your order is being sent as a gift, you may include a gift note at checkout.
We do not include pricing or invoices inside gift packages unless requested.
All items are packaged neatly in recyclable, eco-friendly materials suitable for gifting.
15. Policy Updates
Brushwood Corners LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Shipping Policy at any time to reflect changes in shipping costs, carriers, or operational practices.
Any revisions will take effect immediately upon posting with a new “Last Updated” date.
